Due to the growth of Central Prosthetics, we are now looking for another technician to join our team.
Central Prosthetics is a high-quality N.H.S and Private Denture Laboratory, owned and ran by Mark for over 30 years. We specialise in all aspects of denture work from 1 Tooth Partial dentures to all on 4 Fixed Highbred Restorations.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for a fully qualified, GDC registered dental technician who has: a great work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to work well with others and customers and be committed to delivering a high standard of work. We would love someone who is keen to gain hands-on experience in all areas of the laboratory. Candidates will be asked for an interview as well as a short bench test to assess their exiting knowledge and capabilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities and Duties involve working within all aspects of the production of dentures from: Models, Articulating, Flasking and Packing.
- Preparing Plaster Models
- Producing Wax Bite Blocks, Special Trays and Try-ins
- Finishing Dentures
- Producing Gum Shields, Bite Guards and Splints
Other duties that will be asked of you are:
- Communicating with Clients – Dentists, Practices and Suppliers
- Following DAMAS guidelines in all areas of work
- Keeping all area of the workplace clean and tidy
- Helping maintain lab equipment and machinery

Job Types – Full time, Permanent
Salary – Depending on Experience of the technician
Benefits – Company Pension
Schedule – Monday-Friday (overtime when available)
Experience – Working in a Dental Laboratory previously
License/Certification – Valid GDC Registration
