Job Description
Currently looking to recruit a talented, focused and committed individual required to develop into a highly skilled Dental Technician at a high-quality, full-service dental laboratory linked to a private dental practice.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in CAD/CAM designing for single tooth to full mouth reconstruction for veneers, crowns & bridge and implants using Exocad software is a must.
- Ability to follow treatment plans, occlusion, delicate anatomy and accurate designs
- All round technician with good knowledge of tooth morphology, ceramic layering, model production, 3D printing, CAM software, prosthetics and occlusion
- Motivated, passionate about dental technology and inspired to learn the latest developments in digital CAD/CAM technology
Responsibilities and Duties
To learn and produce all aspects of dental technology using both traditional and modern digital technologies.
- Digitally design all non complex restorations with a high degree of accuracy
- Daily and ongoing maintenance of all CAD/CAM design equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation and environment
- All other technical responsibilities directed by Manager
- Daily and ongoing maintenance of CAD/CAM department and general laboratory
- At all times conducting yourself in a professional manner
- Maintaining a respectful relationship with all team members
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be already qualified and ideally able to register this qualification with the GDC
- A high level of manual dexterity, spatial awareness and aesthetic appreciation are essential.
- Must have good English literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to follow precise oral and written instructions with excellent command of the written and spoken English language.

Owned and operated by a practising dental surgeon with over 20 years practical experience in digital dentistry, and 22 years as an implant surgeon, this is a lab created for discerning dentists, by a discerning dentist.
Our name was created as a mark of respect for the abilities and experience of a human dental technician combining their skill with the benefits of computer-aided dental technology.
The laboratory is equipped with excellent facilities having a heavy emphasis on digital CAD/CAM workflows. We like to think that this shows our open and welcoming attitude to the latest technologies and have created workflows which we now share with colleagues around the globe.
Our workflows enable us to take on a job in a variety of different ways and provide the best-in-class dental appliance for the patient. This also means we are able to tailor the job to a specific surgeon’s needs.
We have our own scanning, milling and 3D printing equipment in-house. We are able to take full advantage of these technologies to work more efficiently and precisely, resulting in outstanding work and raising industry standards. Since all facilities are in-house we can often offer a quicker turnaround compared to other labs.
We like to work closely with our surgeons, in order to ensure the best possible outcomes so both patients and dentists are happy with the results.
This is crucially important for us, because we are not the ordinary laboratory who push out as many jobs as they can within a set time frame. Instead, we think about the details. – The small, seemingly unimportant aspects of something that is often the cause of trouble.
