Title: Prosthetics/Removables Technician

Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire

We work from 7.30 am - 4pm Monday-Thursday and work permitting finish at 12 O'clock on a Friday and believe me when I say - we have never not managed to get work finished on a Friday by 12!
25 days paid holiday plus the usual bank holidays. We close between Christmas and New Year and will usually ask for 1 of your days holiday and we will give you the extra needed as paid time off to make this happen.

We are a progressive laboratory for our size and have been producing digital chromes since 2012 and our digital denture production is growing daily. Don't be afraid of the future, full training can be given if you have no experience, a desire to learn is all that is required.
Our traditional prosthetics manufacture is our staple, along with our vast experience of the Ivoclar BPS denture system.

We are currently seeking a Prosthetics/Removables Technician to join our team in Ripon, North Yorkshire, which is a beautiful part of the country. As a leading provider of dental prosthetics in the area, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care and utilizing the latest technology and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabricate and repair a variety of dental prosthetics/removables, including dentures, partials, and implant-supported restorations
- Read and interpret prescriptions, design specifications, and work orders
- Utilize CAD/CAM technology when needed to create precise and accurate dentures - full training offered in house.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy throughout the fabrication process
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and dentists to ensure patient satisfaction
- Production of BPS dentures and gothic arch tracing plates - full training can be given by our in house trainer if required.

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years at least of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of dental materials and techniques
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and machinery would be amazing, but not necessary
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- a sense of humour is preferred.
- a desire to learn new techniques and knowledge share.
