Senior Dental Technician

SJH Prosthetics Ltd, based in Chorley, Lancashire is seeking a full-time senior dental technician to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a bespoke collaborative laboratory that produces high quality prosthetics and implant work.

"We primarily focus on quality over quantity. The vast majority of our lab work is bespoke, characterised prosthetics, this gives our technicians the space to express themselves and constantly develop their skills. Being a small team means our technicians do not feel as though they are just a number at a bench, it creates a relaxed, friendly environment in which we invest in people's personal development."

Responsibilities:
• Produce prosthetics that are high quality throughout all stages of work, including wax try-ins, denture finishes, denture characterisation including composite and complete implant work.
• Guide and develop less experienced technicians.
• Work independently and manage daily workflow.
• Drive quality throughout the laboratory.

Career progression:
CPD will be provided, whether that be in face to face courses or online workshops. All members of the team will have a personal development plan. We would like the right candidate to develop into a team leadership position and to progress their career into a management role. We are beginning to integrate CAD/CAM technologies into our laboratory, there will be opportunities to learn and progress in this field.
