David Smith from Yeovil College reached out to me this week with an exciting proposal.
David explained how Yeovil College has a strong program for dental technician apprentices, and how they could use some help connecting these talented individuals with relevant job opportunities in UK dental laboratories.
He saw the potential in Recruit4Technicians platform, as a way to bridge that gap.
During our conversation, David and his colleague Chad Cluff, highlighted how dental labs are constantly in need of skilled technicians, but there’s often a disconnect between apprentices completing their studies and finding appropriate placements.
We agreed on a collaboration to create a streamlined pathway for his students to get noticed by dental labs looking to hire.
I was immediately intrigued by the idea. The Recruit4Technicians platform specialises in connecting technician talent with employers, and apprenticeships are a sector we’d love to support further.
By featuring Yeovil College’s apprentices, we could provide these students with direct access to relevant job postings and help labs easily find the talent they need.
Together, David and I saw the potential to make a real impact on the dental industry by supporting apprenticeships and improving access to employment.
More details coming soon …
